활동: 2025년 12월 16일과 17일, 이틀에 걸쳐 Jue Wang 교수님을 초청하여 세미나 및 토론을 진행하였습니다. 16일에 열린 세미나에는 경북대학교, 서울시립대학교, 연세대학교, 경희대학교, 조선대학교 등 여러 대학의 교수진과 연구자, 학생들이 참석하여 GeoAI 분야의 다양한 최신 연구를 공유하고 경청하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다. 17일에는 대학원 융복합시스템공학과 학생들과 Jue Wang 교수님이 함께 연구 방향 및 향후 커리어 설계에 대해 심도 있는 토론을 진행하였습니다. 이번 행사를 통해 학문적 시야를 넓히는 동시에 국제적 연구 교류의 중요성을 다시 한 번 인식할 수 있었습니다. 향후에도 해외 석학들과의 교류를 지속적으로 확대하여 경북대학교와 학과의 대외적 위상을 높이고, 학생들이 글로벌 소통 역량을 함양할 수 있는 기회가 더욱 많아지기를 기대합니다.

Key Activities & Summary: On December 16 and 17, 2025, a two-day international seminar and discussion session were held with the invited speaker Professor Jue Wang. During the seminar on December 16, faculty members, researchers, and students from various institutions—including Kyungpook National University, University of Seoul, Yonsei University, Kyung Hee University, and Chosun University—gathered to share and listen to cutting-edge research in the field of GeoAI. On December 17, Professor Wang led an in-depth discussion with graduate students from the Department of Convergence & Fusion Systems Engineering, focusing on future research directions and career planning. This event provided a valuable opportunity to broaden academic perspectives and reaffirm the importance of international research collaboration. We look forward to continuously expanding exchanges with renowned global scholars to enhance the international prestige of Kyungpook National University and the department, while providing students with more opportunities to develop global communication skills.
